Remove fillers - Hyalase

Hyalase is an enzyme (hyaluronidase) that breaks down hyaluronic acid. It is the same enzyme the body itself produces to break down the hyaluronic acid naturally found in the skin. In concentrated form, it is used to dissolve hyaluronic acid fillers. It only works on hyaluronic acid fillers — not on permanent fillers or other types.

Yes, always before the first Hyalase treatment. We perform a quick test (24 hours prior) where a very small amount is injected into the forearm to rule out allergies. It is free of charge and takes 5 minutes.

The natural hyaluronic acid in the area is also temporarily affected, but the body produces new within 24–48 hours. You won't notice any permanent difference in the skin — but that's why we recommend waiting 2 weeks before any new filler treatment.

No, we recommend at least 2 weeks between Hyalase and new filler treatment so that the area has time to stabilize. Some customers choose to wait longer to fully return to their natural baseline before making a decision.

Yes, absolutely. We treat clients daily who have received fillers at other clinics and we never judge what has been done previously. We need to know what type of filler it is (if possible) — if it's hyaluronic acid, we can almost always help. Unfortunately, we cannot dissolve permanent fillers (silicone, PMMA).

Less than with the filler treatment itself. With lip hyalase, swelling and slight bruising can occur for 2–4 days. For cheeks/jawline, it is usually less — 1–2 days of mild swelling.
